While the show profiles cartel leaders with global reach – including infamous Pablo Escobar and his nearly 20-year stranglehold on the world's cocaine market – it also takes a look at drug lords with a lower profile, such as Cornell Jones, who helped to create America's first "open-air" drug market in Washington, D.C., in the 1980s.
